Barona Fire Protection District maintains a busy training schedule by having a new topic to review each shift. The topics rotate from EMS to Fire every other shift. Some of the topics include: Extrication, Respiratory Emergencies, Cardiac, Pediatrics, Ventilation, Wildland Safety, Communications, etc.
The Department also sponsors numerous higher education level courses for its personnel and other departments of Southern California. The courses may be located at the Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino. The specific location is announced closer to the course start date.
The Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino features a luxurious 397 room hotel, a Championship 18 hole Golf Course, pool, day spa, and 5 excellent restaurants.
Below is the upcoming schedule. If you wish to attend a class, please fill out the application form and mail it to Barona Fire Protection District with payment. Registration is filled on a first come first serve basis. A check received by the District will hold your seat in the class.
